1. Make Yourself Indispensable
How do you do this? You do this by working hard and showing grit. Grit is the ability to show persistence and determination to reach a certain goal. Making yourself indispensable means you go above and beyond what you were told to do. For instance, If you're at work or pursuing a career, do more than what you're required. I guarantee your hard work will pay off and others will notice.

Going the extra mile every day will strengthen your mental toughness.

2. Never Have Your Hand Out for Money
Do you want to be paid more for your time? Increase your value. The more value you possess, the more money you will receive. Never beg or plead for money. Begging for more money is a "victim" mindset. Simply create more value for yourself where others recognize your abilities.
Creating a service for others is the best way to make more money. Why? Because you are creating value for other people thus creating a demand. How do you create more value for yourself? Make it a priority to learn. Read as many books as you can, take courses and classes, and never stop developing yourself.
"Income seldom exceeds personal development." - Jim Rohn

3. Be Early
Be early. Always. Being on time means you're late and whoever arrives first has the best chance of success. Why? This is because it shows you're dedicated, you have more time to prepare and you're setting an example for yourself and others around you. If you're working in an office setting, be the first to arrive to work and other employees will notice.
Be a man of your word and start by leading by example. Best place to start? By being punctual. Being early means you respect your time and the time of others.
